Hi! I’m Shona, a Clinical Naturopath and the founder of Sage Health Studio.

I’ve been a practicing as a Clinical Naturopath for over 10 years, graduating from the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in 2011 .

I first began working in Coogee at a wellness centre called The Living Room, then later through clinics in Sydney CBD and the Eastern Suburbs.

My partner and I chose to up sticks and relocate to the beautiful Far South Coast in 2015. On arriving, I opened ‘The Dispensary at Cobargo’  – a small boutique health food retail store and Herbal Apothecary with an adjoining clinic consulting room for me to run my part-time practice.

This was a thriving small business in the village heart of Cobargo, servicing the local region for 5 years.

Sadly, this business was a total loss in the Black Summer Bushfire Disaster New Year’s Eve 2019/2020.

With the assistance of our local community we have been generously supported and encouraged to re-establish the business after the loss in the bushfires. We thank each and every one of you – your support and words of encouragement through the long recovery journey have truly made all the difference.

Outside of clinical practice my other passion is running an agricultural farm with my partner of over 15 years. We are proud to operate this small scale, high quality, specialty farm growing a seasonal range of gourmet lettuce, leafy green vegetables, herbs and micro greens.

Available to purchase at local grocery stores and select outlets on the far south coast and at Canberra’s Capitol Region Farmer Markets.

We love supplying farm fresh, chemical free, local grown produce.

I have served on several Not-For-Profit Boards and local committees over the years as a way to to give back to my professional and local community.

Since the Black Summer Bushfire Disaster 2019/2020 I have been actively involved in driving community-led volunteer recovery work in the recovery process and the efforts of the rebuilding of Cobargo village through my work with the CQBRG Inc and CCDC Limited.
